Family garden

A lovely large plot of a luxury new build with beautiful views over fields behind.

The clients wanted a large lawn for play, some work on the existing patio left by the developers and different seating areas to take in the views adding some opportunity for shade in a south facing garden. Also a Planting Plan that could be added to over time.

We created paths and a cedar deck and pergola with louvred panels to create shade, a play area including a willow tunnel, pleached trees for privacy and lots of blossom trees and underplanting to grow with the garden.

A challenging site post- developer which had left the site compacted with heavy machinery and built in one of the coldest and wettest winters ever! But overall a triumph and a lovely sanctuary for the family.
